We left the Vail Valley on a powder day wondering what kind of snow California might have for us. The skies cleared as we drove which allowed for some good picture taking from the moving car.
We spent the night just south of Salt Lake. As we drove by the lake the next morning we saw a Morton salt factory and the Bonnaville Speedway and the exciting town of Wendover NV.
We looked for a Basque resturant for lunch in Elko on Christmas, but darn them they were all closed. We met up with Karl, Kari's brother, to do some snowboarding.
