Leaving Boulder

Loki, the dog, got us up this morning about 5:30 and then I was unable to get back to sleep. So I got up around 6:10. (very exciting I know, it something that has been happening since my knee surgery. So maybe the former owner of my achillies/ACL graft was a light sleeper. Or maybe I am going to start the sleeping habits of my father.) But this did allow me to go outside to get a couple nice pictures of the snow on the Flatirons.

I'll have to thank mother nature for not dumping three feet of snow on the ground as she might have done if she really wanted us to have a fun drive to North Dakota over the next two days.

Kudos for actually making a blog. You are now a card carrying member of the TRUE cyber generation. Good luck and safe travels on your trip. Don't hesitate to let us know if you need us to do anything for you! I've visited my share of Americans in Asian jails (when I was a foreign exchange student in China)... No fun, but I can bring you all goodies like Pringles and warm slippers, oh and a sleeping bag.
